Ethan looks past him and establishes eye contact with Olivia. Getting to her feet, she waves awkwardly and gives him a rascally grin. Grasping Blake’s hand, he grips it firmly and pulls him closer. With the other hand he grabs him by the scruff of the neck and ushers him, forcefully, toward the open door. “That won’t be necessary.” With a firm shove, he pushes him outside.
Standing on the front porch, Blake turns to say something, but Ethan slams the door shut.
“Ethan!” Olivia gasps.
Ethan turns on his heels, locking his eyes to hers, as he advances toward her angrily. “YOU… BEDROOM… NOW!”
Without hesitation, Olivia moves toward the stairs. Ethan’s heavy steps behind her make her grip onto the railing and speed up the journey to the second floor. As her mind races through all the dirty, filthy things she’s going to let him do to her, she starts spewing any missing details about herself, just to make sure he doesn’t change his mind. “My favorite colour is pink… My first pet was a kitten named Iggy… I wear a size eight shoe…”
“I don’t even care right now, woman! Just keep moving!” he says annoyed.
Olivia takes a few steps in to the room, and stops, turning to look at him. Her entire body thrums with anticipation as he closes the space between them. He pulls his shirt off over his head and looks at her with carnal desire. Olivia backs up, until she’s against the side of the bed and can’t go any further. Her heart races, as his muscular body presses against her. He takes rough possession of her lips, biting and licking with a hunger. Moving closer, he pulls her shirt over her head and pushes her further, until her knees bend and she collapses backward onto the bed. Reaching down, he grabs hold of her pant legs and yanks on them forcefully, almost pulling her off the edge.
“Whoa! Take it easy there, Caveman!” Olivia says, as she grasps on to the sheets to keep from being yanked off the bed.
“OFF! Get them off!” he growls as he lets go.
Olivia quickly unbuttons her jeans and lifts her bottom as she slides them down over her hips.
“Faster!” Grabbing on to the waistband, he rids her of them with one strong tug. Olivia gets butterflies as she watches the mountain of alpha male in front of her unzip his trousers and drop them to the floor in record time. Joining her on the bed, he resumes his assault on her lips, while securing her beneath his heavy muscular body. When he grips both wrists in his strong hands and firmly pins them down, she moans, writhing beneath him impatiently.
Breaking his kiss, he moves his mouth to her chest, nipping and nibbling on her skin, creating a masterpiece.
“Ethan!” she says, squirming beneath him when he bites harder.
Breathing heavily in her ear, he runs his hand down her body and between her legs. Heat rushes across her skin, making her wetter, as he voices his possessive thoughts. “This is mine.”
“Yes, it’s yours.”
“Apparently, you need a reminder. Every time you look at this, you’ll remember who owns you.”
“I could never forget,” she groans, straining to see his mark.
“Good girl.”
Those two words, saturated with possession and spoken with his seductive Irish accent, make her insides churn with excitement. Ethan slides down her body, taking his place between her thighs, removing her panties as he goes. His tongue goes straight to work, stroking over her folds, moving from her slick entrance to her sensitive clit. Ethan presses a finger inside her and then another. He continues, licking and lapping with further determination when she moans her approval. Each and every lick stimulating a sensitive spot between her legs, pushing her toward ecstasy. Widening her knees, she squirms beneath him. “Ethan… I’m going to come,” she pants as she runs her fingers through his hair.
“I know.”
“Please, I want you inside me when I do.”
“Oh, you will… when you have your second orgasm.” He nips at her thigh, making her cry out. Pleasure starts to overcome her, growing in intensity. She digs her heels into the bed, preparing for it.
Ethan grabs hold of her trembling thighs and buries his tongue deep inside her, sending her into a wonderland of pleasure. Moving on top of her, he enters her still throbbing pussy. He rolls his body slowly, sliding all the way in. Firmly taking hold of her breasts, he squeezes them with an unrelenting grip as he rocks his hips and slams back into her hard. It feels so good when she squeezes his cock when he threatens to withdraw.
“It’s about time you looked after business, Mr. O’Connell,” Olivia pants through short breaths.
Growling, he does it again, making her body lurch beneath him. “How about you come again for me?”
“Maybe,” she taunts him. “I guess we’ll see. Is that the best you’ve got?”
Controlling his tempo, he withdraws slowly then meets the thrust of her hips on his way back in. “How about you stop talking now.”
“How about you stop messing around and fuck me harder?”
Ethan grins. “My pleasure.” Leaning forward, he growls in her ear. “I want you on all fours. NOW!” He sits back, withdrawing while she obediently adjusts her position. “Head down,” he instructs.
Olivia leans forward, her head to the sheets and her ass in the air. Positioning himself behind her, he admires the view. A firm hand comes down hard on her cheek, catching her by surprise. It’s followed by another hard swat, which makes her gasp for air. Reaching forward, he grabs hold of her hair, tugging on it firmly until her head leans back toward him. “Don’t ever tease me like that again.”
“I didn’t mean to,” she protests.
“Oh? You mean to say that you sent me a picture of you and Mr. Sheridan snuggling by accident?” Positioning his cock at her opening, he teases her. She squirms, backing up against it, trying to guide it in. She whimpers as his hand comes down firmly on her cheek.
“No.”
“I didn’t think so.” He caresses his hand over the pink skin, enjoying the warmth.
“I’m sorry,” she mumbles into the sheets.
He rubs his hard cock against her twitching sensitive clit until she can’t stand it any longer.
“Please. I’m sorry.”
“Now that sounds sincere. It’s a shame really. I like making your ass a beautiful shade of pink.” He enters her, burying himself as far as he can until his hips feel the warmth left behind by his hand. It excites him, spurring him into a hurried rhythm. Grabbing onto her hips, he pulls her back onto his cock. She arches her back, forcing him against her G-spot, clenching tightly around him with every thrust. Her legs begin to tremble and small sounds of repletion escape her throat.
Ethan feels his pleasure coil, building stronger. Adjusting his position, he continues to stroke in a rigorous rhythm. He senses the tremor in her body, “You’re going to come again. I can feel it.”
She starts to pant. “Yes!” Waves of an overwhelming orgasm start to wash over her, rippling through her body and spreading outward with increasing force. Ethan joins her, grunting with the last few thrusts before filling her with his cum.
It seems like forever for their breathing to return to normal, neither of them able to speak.
Olivia turns in his arms and brushes a soft kiss across his lips. “How about you never make me wait that long ever again.”
“Deal.” Ethan strokes her hair, tucking it behind her ear.
“Okay, go shower and get dressed.”
“For what?”
“I told Rachel we’d meet her and Scott at Ireland’s.”
“Tonight? I’m rather buggered now,” he complains.
“Hey, Mr. Date Night. You said you were taking me out for dinner and dancing. Get dressed.”
After some negotiation, Ethan persuades her to have dinner at a quiet little restaurant in town, away from all the interruptions in his own establishment. After she sends Rachel a message to say that they’ll meet them for dancing at ten p.m., he makes her leave her phone in the car, still determined to get to know her. After dinner, i
t’s a very short drive to Ireland’s Pub. She notices the still vacant sign over the entrance to the front door. “When will the new sign arrive? She asks curiously.
“Next week, hopefully.”
“I thought it was supposed to be this week?”
“Well,” he begins. “Seems that it was delivered and then returned before it was installed.”
“Returned? Let me guess. Did the shade of green clash with the owner’s eyes?” she says, holding back a chuckle.
“You’re hilarious tonight.”
“Well, I’ve heard the new owner is extremely vain,” she teases.
“Hardly, but he is an extremely handsome man.”
“And kind of charming, for an Irishman,” she adds, a grin spreading across her face from ear to ear.
He playfully holds his chest. “Your words wound me, Madam.”
“Don’t make me laugh,” she pleads. “I have to pee. Hmmm, no reserved spot for the owner?” she notes, looking around at the seemingly full parking lot.
“Oh, there is one, but seems someone ignored the sign.”
Driving up and down a few rows, looking for a vacant spot, Olivia’s discomfort is growing.
“Ethan can you just pull up out front, so I can go in and use the bathroom?”
“Fine.” He swings the car around the end of the row and squeals up to the front door. The people standing outside smoking all stop and turn to look at them.
“You and your tiny bladder go do your business then, and I’ll park somewhere and meet you inside.”
“Ummm. Make that a tiny bladder with a baby sitting on it,” she corrects. She jumps out of the car in desperation. He smiles, watching her shuffle quickly to the door in her heels. Her phone rings and he leans over the console to see that it’s Rachel. Shaking his head, he resumes his search for somewhere to park, very seriously considering having the offending car towed from his spot. Rachel calls back two more times, making him even more agitated. Finally, he sees taillights backing out of a spot and pulls to the side to wait for the space. Getting out of the car his phone rings. “For heaven sakes,” he says, as he holds it up to his ear. “Woman! What is your issue?”
A panicked voice on the other end screams at him, “Ethan, thank God! Why haven’t you been answering your phone?”
He’s alarmed by the urgency in her voice. “Rachel? What’s wrong? Is Scott okay?”
“Yes Scott’s fine… but Ethan… Don’t bring Olivia to the bar tonight, okay?” Her voice trails off, clouded by the loud background noise.
“Rachel?” He starts walking, heading toward the door, still holding the phone to his ear.
“I’m here!” she says panicked. “Promise me, Ethan. Don’t bring her here. I don’t care what you have to tell her.”
“Rachel, slow down. We’re already here.”
“Don’t let her out of the car. Turn around and take her home.”
“Dammit, Rach. Tell me what’s going on. Olivia’s already inside. I dropped her off at the door while I parked.”
“Fuck! Ethan… listen, you need to find her and get her out of here now.”
Rachel turns to speak to someone else. “She’s in the building. Go find her.”
“Rachel,” Ethan says frustrated. “What the fuck is going on?” He quickens his pace to the door.
Rachel swallows hard and hesitates. “He’s here, Ethan.”
“Who’s here?” he asks, now feeling very anxious.
“Sam,” she says regretfully. “Sam’s here.”
Chapter Nine
Shocked, Ethan stops dead in his tracks. “How the fuck did he get past security?”
“Travis had someone new on the door. I guess he wasn’t told to watch for him.”
“Remind me to fire him. Where’s John?”
“You gave him the night off, apparently.”
Ethan’s shoulders draw up and become tight. “Fuck. Head toward the bathroom and see if you can find her. I’m on my way in.” Anger begins to vibrate in his tone. “Did someone call the Guard?”
“If you mean the police, then yes. Scott did. They’re taking their sweet time in getting here. He was trying to keep an eye on him but it’s ridiculously crowded in here. He’s not sure where he is right now. Maybe he left.”
Olivia touches up her lipstick and heads back into the restaurant, unaware of what’s going on. She’s only a few feet into the room when a mountain of a man stands in front of her, blocking her path. The faint scent of the unmistakable cologne causes fear to rocket through her body. She reaches into her empty pocket for her phone and feels panic sit heavily on her chest. Slowly her eyes trail up the massive body to his face. Hollow, morose eyes reflect the darkness behind them. Her blood runs cold. “I don’t want to talk to you, Sam. Move,” she demands, conjuring every ounce of courage she has to look him straight in the eye.
“Come on, baby. You don’t mean that,” he says in a deep raspy voice.
“I’m going to call the police.”
“On the phone, that isn’t in your pocket?” A sinister grin forms on his lips.
She tries to move past him, but he denies her passage to safety. Firmly grasping her elbow, he forcefully steers her off to the side and out of sight.
“We have some things to talk about.”
Olivia tries to shrug her elbow out of his grasp but it’s no use. “My boyfriend owns this restaurant. All I have to do is scream for security.”
“Go ahead. I’m sure they won’t hear you over the music.”
“You need to let me go, Sam.” Putting her hands on his chest, she tries to push him away. He laughs at her efforts and cages her in, locking her against the wall.
“People are digging around in my business, asking questions.”
“Good,” she says struggling. “Why don’t you answer them? Starting with why you left me for dead.”
“It was a long time ago. Just let it go,” he says growing angry.
Thinking he’s let his guard down, she tries to step to the side and escape, but he stops her. “It’s kind of hard when you’re stalking me.”
“I’m not stalking you,” he insists.
“Let me go.” She pushes him, but he doesn’t budge. “I know you followed me the night I got lost. You’ve been in my house!”
“That wasn’t me. I’d forgotten how beautiful you are. Give me a kiss for old times’ sake.”
Ethan pushes his way through the people bopping and weaving on the dance floor, trying to make his way to the back of the bar. Oblivious to his mission, they bump into him, spilling their drinks. His eyes eagerly scan the crowd but it’s hard to see anything clearly. Thinking he hears someone calling his name, he stops, straining to hear anything over the loud music. Angst washes over him as Rachel comes out of the washroom alone. He glances frantically to his left and his right, frustrated with the crowd. Ignoring the protests from his patrons, Ethan steps onto a chair and stands in the middle of one of the pool tables.
“Olivia!” he shouts, not holding much hope that she can hear him over the thumping loud music. Jumping down, he starts to double back to the front door when something in a dark corner catches his eye. He starts moving in that direction. When there’s a break in the crowd, he comes to an abrupt halt. He finally finds her on the other side of the room, imprisoned by a large man. From the fear on her face, he knows that it’s Sam. He rushes to get to her side, with Rachel right behind him spouting angry, curse words.
Olivia fights him, turning her face to avoid his lips. Tears begin to stream down her cheeks.
“Olivia!” Ethan calls out, as he approaches.
She tries to break away and go to him. “Ethan!”
Ethan puts his hand firmly on Sam’s shoulder.
Sam looks at him, annoyed that he’s interrupted. “Listen, friend.”
“NO... you listen, friend. Get your hands off my girl.” Sam turns and sizes Ethan up, then chuckles.
“This is none of your business. Move along.”
“Oh, it is my business. Get your hands off her!”
Sam turns his back, in a dismissive manner. “We’re having a private conversation.”
Olivia strains to get away. “Please, let me go!”
“Tell me how much you miss me. I can tell you do. You miss those nights, on your knees where you belong.”
Ethan’s blood runs hot and his rage begins to boil over. He taps him on the back. Sam growls angrily as he turns over his shoulder. “Would you just FUCK.OFF.”
BOOM ! Ethan hits him with a right hook that knocks him back several feet.
“Oh shit!” Rachel screams. It brings Scott running from the other side of the room, with Travis and Adam close behind.
Olivia stands frozen in the same spot, almost hyperventilating, tears still streaming down her face. Rachel grabs her hand and drags her toward the door, and out into the cool evening air. “Olivia, are you okay?” She takes a quick inventory of arms, hands, and face to make sure she’s not hurt. “Olivia?” She gives her a little shake, trying to get some kind of response from her.
The police pull up out front and take a leisurely stroll toward the building. Suddenly the doors fly open and Ethan emerges. Behind him, Sam is escorted out by two very burly looking men. Ethan pauses to talk to one of the cops as they pass him. Sam struggles, breaking free from his hold and takes another swing at him. The crowd that follows the action out of the bar forms a circle around them as Ethan delivers a few more punishing shots, sending Sam to the ground.
“Kick his ass, Ethan!” Rachel screams. Standing beside her, Scott glances at her, amused. She shrugs her shoulders. “Well, he deserves it,” she justifies.
The police scoop Sam off the sidewalk and put him in the back of the cruiser, most likely for his own protection. “We’ll need you and Miss James down at the station to file a report and press charges,” one of the officers says to Ethan. Ethan nods, staring into the back window. If he had just a few more minutes alone with the bastard, he’d be leaving in a body bag, not a police cruiser. Watching as they pull away, he spits out a mouth full of blood.
